Stone Green Nurseries are dedicated to producing the very best quality plants for success in your garden. Our Specially blended compost is P.H. balanced and includes a base fertiliser to give, an initial encouraging nudge to newly potted plants.
We also include Osmocote 12-14 month, this is a controlled release fertiliser which releases over a 12-14 month period giving the plant a good start in the garden after planting. A wetting agent is also incorporated to aid moisture retention within the pot.
Finally and most importantly we have now added Vi-Nil. This gives 2 years protection against Vine Weevil.
In 2006 Stone Green Nurseries installed a topping machine alongside our potting machine, enabling us to add a 10 mm layer of bark or a 5 mm layer of crushed almond shells to the tops of pots.
